Ancient Sun

The following is an over view of what kind of Guild we are and our protocols; basically what you can expect of us. For the TLDR crowd:

-If you're very serious about big time raiding and fast., competitive progression, our Guild isn't for you.

-If you want to tell people how to play their Classes, and believe there's only one way to do things, our Guild isn't for you.

-If you're more in to items and beefing yourself up than how your fellow Guildies fare, our Guild isn't for you.

-If you enjoy having an attitude about things, can't be a team player, etc....well, you get the point now. Our Guild isn't for you!

The Sun Codex

-Our main goal as a Guild is to provide a good natured, fun environment for our members to partake in as they adventure in the World of Warcraft.. We strive to be a mature and honorable Guild and try to uphold ourselves to that standard.

-To aid our primary goal we really ask for everyone to be cool to each other, because it's just a game! Please treat the forums and Guild chat as if you were in a PG-13 environment. In raids we're much more relaxed about that though, but it depends on the leader and what they would like the atmosphere to be.

-That same respect and honor you show to our Guildmates should also be carried at all times when dealing with players outside of the Guild. What you do always reflects upon the Guild itself and helps to mold it's overall image whether you are aware of it or not, so please bear that in mind when adventuring out there!

-We are not a hardcore Guild, but we still try to do as much progression as we can. The bottom line in our raids is to have fun!

-And the most important decree: enjoy yourself and have a good time!

Ranks and Positions

The Ranks of the Ancient Sun are based upon a members time in the Guild for the most part. They either reflect the stage of Recruitment someone is currently in or to show veteran status

Recruit: This Rank is assigned to new recruits of the Ancient Sun.

Knight: This Rank denotes a full member of the Ancient Sun.

Knight Lieutenant: This Rank is given to veteran members of the Ancient Sun as decided by the Council.

Captain: A Captain is one of the members of the Council, the group that runs the Guild and tackles important decisions and issues that may come.

Lord: The Guild master of the Ancient Sun.

Please note that our Ranks ONLY reflect responsibilities in our Guild, and only that. Afterall, whatever you might be, in the end we're all on the same level and are simply just players trying to have some fun.
