I really enjoyed the night and day mission.

yeppers... normal mode is pretty easy. i think blizzard redefined normal as the mode for "really casual players". It's kinda like WoW where everyone gets purplez!

So what time should we get together and have (a) multiplayer battle(s)?

I started it and ran the first couple of super easy missions. Love the graphics!!! I really enjoy how the cut scenes play out the storyline. I managed to get Rizzen for my in game name so send me invite!

I found this today and it made me sad:

Zenix that is how I feel...I'm not done with the game or played any multiplayer games, but I'm already leaning towards not buying the expansions if nothing changes...

Anyone else think the story through missions is a little weak? I mean I understand that it's hard to fund a revolution without cash, but so many missions so far have been only for the money. Story does seem to flow through the cut scenes and interactive parts on the ship. But I feel the missions are lacking story.

The missions get better, it just takes a little longer than I thought it would to get the ball rolling.
Blizzard let me down on how they implemented the new battle.net and I have a feeling that I'll never get my precious LAN back

Tried to patch 1.02 and it failed. Kept getting the following error message:

(MD5 mismatch: expected 0x1154FFEDD6CC3BFA5AD06FED2F585DE0, actual 0xBB9C3899715F2FF9D965B4B26DC9D5BC.)(PTCApply_BSDiff failed.) If this problem persists, you may be able to solve it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. If you are unable to correct this problem, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. (BNUpdate::PTCApply)

Any ideas so I don't have to reinstall?

If you can find the patch files that were downloaded, delete them and then start the patching process over again. The MD5 is a hash that tells if the file is the correct one/hasn't been modified, it's possible that when you downloaded it, not every byte was downloaded properly.

Ick. Ah well, I see reinstall in my future.

Run the SC2 repair utility (should be in your menu somewhere).

was easy enough to reinstall while i was watching the Jags game. Works fine now. But thanks for the suggestions. Will keep in mind should it happen again.
